  3. Overall we really love the Bowlus. Works well for us and the dogs. Besides the trip cross country we've done several other shorter trips and continue to enjoy traveling with it.

    We've seen plenty of other trailers this last year. Everything from homemade "sleeping bags on wheels" to huge class A's and fifth wheels. We've discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each. Other than an oven we've decided that there is nothing in the other trailers we really need or want.

    No problems with the standard tow hitch. As I mentioned in a previous post I moved the electrical connector, modified the door, and put tow chain extensions on to make the hitching process easier.

    One caveat on the tow hitch. Our trailer is on the lighter side and squarely in the middle of the rating for the hitch. Some people towing trailers closer to the upper rating limit have described some play in the hitch. Some have put on an aftermarket draw-tite hitch.
